This month’s RIBA CPD Showcase looks at how the interplay between light and design can transform a structure. Our selection of RIBA assessed and approved CPD materials covers lighting, windows, window films, rooflights and more. All of the CPD materials included here are RIBA-accredited so you’ll earn double points, which count towards your annual total requirement of 100 learning points.

The latest CPD section includes online learning and seminars such as ‘An Introduction to Workplace Ergonomics’ by Colebrook Bosson Saunders Ltd, ‘Delivering Beautiful Building Services’ by PARC and ‘Pumping Stations’  by T-T

Some of the CPD material focussing on the theme of light and design includes:

Luxury Residential Lighting by Homeplay Ltd
Using Rooflights to Unlock Light, Air and Space  by Glazing Vision Ltd
Glass Rooflights - Specification Guide by National Association of Rooflight Manufacturers (NARM)

In this month’s issue we also look at RIBA Core Curriculum topics ‘Sustainable architecture’ and ‘Inclusive environments’.

Remember, you should spend a minimum of 20 hours on CPD that incorporates material from the 10 Core Curriculum topics.

Our selection of live online seminars includes ‘Precious Metals in Steel Windows and Doors’ by Secco, ‘Introduction to Integrated Lighting Design’ by CEDIA and ‘Applied Window Films - Benefits and Considerations’ by Glass Films Europe.

The range of materials in this month’s Featured CPD section includes ‘Design, Detail and Installation’ by VELFAC Windows, ‘Window Selection: A Specifier's Guide’ by Metal Technology Ltd and ‘Let There be Light Air and Access: A Specifiers Guide’ by Sunsquare Ltd.
